This is the latest CD by Jook Bourke. It features eleven new original contemporary
acoustic blues songs. Bourke has focused again on the everyday events and things that give all of us the blues and at the same time uplift our spirits. The songs chronicle major disasters and mundane dilemma like whether to answer the phone or not. "Just A Minute" features his vocals, songwriting, fingerstyle and bottleneck acoustic guitar, and harmonica. There are a couple of crossover cuts, "Reach Out" and "Boca Raton" that broaden Bourke's typical acoustic blues style. |
